AN EXCEPTIONAL PROJECT BORN FROM OUR BURNING PASSION FOR MONASTRELL AND WINE

THE COLLECTION

This exceptional project is the personal brainchild of Elena Pacheco and Isio Ramos aimed at making 100% Monastrell wines from select DO Jumilla vineyards. Using vineyard husbandry and winemaking techniques acquired from local viticulturists, they skilfully craft their wines to reach their full expression with regard to microclimate, soil, location, and the age of the vines. The factors that determine the flavour of a wine can be summarised into four key aspects: climate, soil, vines, and viticulture. The soil is the factor that determines whether a grape variety will develop its full character or not. Monastrell boasts a variety of taste sensations depending on whether it is planted in sandy, clay, rocky, or chalky soils. In this outstanding vineyard collection we combine savoir faire with the passion transmitted by the region’s senior viticulturists and their way of working the land. This is what makes a wine unique; this is what enables us to produce delicate, fresh, dynamic wines from our native grape variety: MONASTRELL.
